Los Altos Hills, CA/Nantucket. Randee first visited Nantucket in 1960 and has returned regularly with her family since 1980. When not summering on Nantucket, Randee leads an active life at her home in Los Altos Hills, where she and her late husband Joe raised their family. She has had a lifelong interest in dance, originally as a student and then as a board member of several dance companies including chairing the board of San Francisco’s Margaret Jenkins Dance Company. Most recently, she was elected a trustee of The San Francisco Ballet. Randee took a short hiatus from the dance world to pursue ceramics. Her non-functional teapots appeared in shows and galleries throughout the country, including New York City’s Museum of Arts and Design’s exhibition “The Tea Party”. Randee enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren and is delighted to see that The Atheneum is becoming a part of her granddaughters’ Nantucket summers.
