Lisa Clarey-Lawler
Kirkwood, CA / Nantucket. Lisa has over 30 years of consulting and leadership experience in marketing, communications, and branding. Her clients have included Adobe, Amazon, Apple, Cisco, Google, Motorola, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, VMware, and other companies across a broad spectrum of industries and technologies. Her consulting assignment with VMware evolved to a full-time role as Vice President of Employment Brand, where she led the company’s global strategy for increasing employee engagement and elevating employer reputation to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Lisa’s professional passion extends to her volunteer work with non-profit organizations. Most recently, she served as the Development Chair on the Board of Trustees for the Nantucket Cottage Hospital. She has also held Executive Board roles with the Nantucket Dreamland and the Silicon Valley Association of International Business Communicators. Additionally, she led rebranding efforts for the Maria Mitchell Association while serving as a Board member and Gala Co-Chair. Lisa graduated from Boston College with Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Human Development (Psychology) and a minor in Communications. When she’s not advising clients, she enjoys gardening, entertaining, interior design, outdoor sports, and adventure travel with her husband, Bruce. Lisa and Bruce have had a home on Nantucket since 2003 and became permanent residents in 2006. They enjoy the majority of the year on the island and spend their winters at a ski resort in Kirkwood, CA.
