Will this service’s app use my cellular data?
Yes, Kanopy can be set to use or use cellular data. We recommend in the App’s setting disabling “Cellular Data” to not use you cell data plan.
Will I need my library card?
Yes, you will also need to create a free account with Kanopy.
How many titles can be checked out at a time?
Atheneum patrons have a checkout limit of 10 downloads per month; they reset on the first of the month.
Can I place holds on titles?
Kanopy titles are always available; you don’t have to place holds on them.
Can titles be renewed?
Titles cannot be renewed.
Can I accumulate overdue fines?
No overdue fines; the titles are returned automatically.
