MUSEUM PASS(PORT) PROGRAM
The Nantucket Atheneum is excited to announce the launch of The Pass(port) Program, a new initiative offering free museum and experience passes to library patrons. Starting this summer, library cardholders — whether year-round residents or visitors — can borrow passes for complimentary admission to select island museums and places.
Daily passes are available at the library’s main desk and may be checked out by any library cardholder — no matter where you’re from. Library cards are free for anyone who is interested.
This collaborative effort is made possible through the generosity and cooperation of local museums and organizations, such as the Maria Mitchell Association, Egan Maritime Institute, and the Coskata-Coatue Wildlife Refuge, committed to enhancing public access to their exhibits and experiences.
The Museum will open for the season on May 25, 2026.
