The Ellen J. Goldberg Memorial Fund at the Nantucket Atheneum was established by Ellen’s family and friends in 2006 after she passed away from her courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Ellen was a dynamic and inspiring middle school English teacher, a lover of books and a patron of the Atheneum. The contributions to the memorial fund are directed to teen programs and services offered by the Atheneum.
